What is SilkRoute?
A software company. We build discovery, matching and intent tools for digital assets and the communities around them. SilkRoute is built non-custodial: your actions, your keys and your assets stay under your control.
What can I trade?
SilkRoute is built for graded cards, PFPs, digital art and collectibles. Real things, like graded slabs, watches and comics, trade as tokens: a custodian holds the piece and a token stands for it. SilkRoute doesn't tokenize the pieces or hold them. We provide the software to trade the tokens.
How does matching work?
Say what you want: the piece, the grade, the chain. SilkRoute looks for people who hold it and connects you. The decision is yours, and it's designed so nothing moves until both of you sign.
How do I get access?
Join the waitlist and we'll email you when your invitation is ready. SilkRoute is for adults only: 18 or 19, depending on your jurisdiction.
Do I need to understand crypto?
No. SilkRoute is designed so you can start without knowing how wallets work. Every decision stays yours.
Who holds my things?
You do. SilkRoute is built non-custodial: it's designed not to hold your pieces or your keys, and so nothing moves until both of you approve. Terms apply.
What does it cost?
Joining the waitlist is free. SilkRoute is designed to show any fee before you confirm a trade. Network fees go to the network.
How do referrals work?
When a user you referred trades, 5% of SilkRoute's fee on that swap goes to you. It builds up until you collect it. Terms apply.
Can a trade be undone?
Generally, no. Once both of you approve and a trade settles on-chain, it is usually final and SilkRoute can't reverse it. Check the details before you sign.
Which networks?
SilkRoute is built for Ethereum, Base, Polygon and Robinhood Chain. The list may change.
What happens to my data?
If you join the waitlist, we use your email to run the list and contact you about SilkRoute. We do not sell personal information. You can ask to see, correct or delete it. Our Privacy Policy has the detail.
How do I report a security issue?
Write to support@silkroute.online with “Security” in the subject. Please keep the details private until we reply.
